PROJECT 2A AND 2B

Project 2A was on natural structure. We had to produce a black & white sketch of a natural structure that can be found around USM(Universiti Sains Malaysia- the amazing university I am currently pursuing my degree at) Main Campus. It can be trees & plants, insects, animals and etc. The sketch should include the elements of light and shadow. We had to write a description of our sketch using ‘uppercase architectural lettering’. Here's what the ‘uppercase architectural lettering’ looks like:

Here's what MY ‘uppercase architectural lettering’ looks like

Hmm not bad.

We had to attach actual photo (black & white) of the object chosen at the back of the mounting board. We had to include the name of the object and the location where it is found below the photo.

I chose this little fella:

His name is Huey. I found Huey on a piece of land somewhere near the Convex site. Even though Huey's height barely reached 5cm, he somehow caught my attention. As i drew Huey, i learnt that it's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen. I started to enjoy the little things in life like running against the wind, snapping pictures of the sunset, and even greeting loved ones with a smile. This is what my drawing of Huey looks like:

Alright, let's move on to Project 2B. For Project 2B, we had to produce a coloured drawing of a man-made structure that can be found around USM Main Campus. I chose to draw a wakaf.

Here's what it turned out to look like :

I'm impressed :p
